Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts

These are soo good an a little different from the typical party appetizers. I like that!

16 ounces sliced bacon
2 (8 ounce) cans water chestnuts, drained

Sauce:
1 cup ketchup (or you can use soy sauce if you like an Asian flair)
1 cup brown sugar
1.5 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce.
Cut bacon slices into thirds.
Wrap chestnuts in bacon and secure with toothpicks.
place wrapped chestnuts in a 9x13 pan.
Pour sauce over bacon and water chestnuts. (try to keep it off the toothpicks)
Bake in preheated oven until bacon is completely cooked, about 45 to 50 minutes.

You could also do this in a crockpot and layer them but the sauce won't get to each and every chestnut.
