Less Messy Sammys

My mom got us a little sandwich cutter/crimper that makes tarts out of a regular sandwich or dough. We've been having fun making new, less messy lunches this way. Strangely enough, spinach and artichoke filling is pretty good on a sandwich. It can be fairly healthy too if you use the right ingredients. Here is the recipe for the filling and more ideas for sandwiches.


  • 1 package(s) (10-ounce) frozen chopped spinach, thawed
  • 1 package(s) (8-ounce) cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1/4 cup(s) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 can(s) (14 ounce) artichoke hearts, drained and quartered
  • 1/2 cup(s) low-fat mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
Bake at 400* until it starts to brown.
