Beer Boiled Shrimp

2 c. beer (Corona is really good with this recipe)
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp salt – I like kosher
1 bay leaf
1/2 lemon, quartered
2 pounds uncooked medium shrimp

Bring beer, garlic, salt and bay leaf to a boil; simmer 10 minutes.
Add lemon and shrimp.
Boil 5-6 minutes or until shrimp turn pink.
Drain and cool.
